This is a beautifully soft, rich creamy coloured, delicate cotton lawn fabric with 26% silk woven into the composition giving it a luxurious feel. This fabric is lightweight and floaty so would work beautifully as a light weight and billowy garment. As this fabric is pretty sheer, I would recommend you wear a slip or camisole if you wish.

Washing Guidelines: Hand wash
We recommend you wash your fabric before cutting and sewing as some fabrics will shrink in the wash due to the nature of their composition.

I’ve been looking for a silk cotton blend for some time but buying online I’m never sure what I’m going to get. Finally decided to try this one and I’m really pleased with it…. very nice feel, good colour and although it’s quite sheer, it will be worn over a petticoat so will work very well.
