Our Story
Claire’s love for sewing began as a child, learning from her mother and aunts, and grew into a celebrated career. After earning a diploma in clothing production and winning the Rhea Awards for Fashion Excellence in 2000, she spent years teaching sewing at schools and colleges. Claire then launched her own label, Claire Catherine Bridal and Couture, designing bespoke wedding gowns. Following the birth of her daughter, Elizabeth, she founded Eli-b Create & Sew, a sewing school in Byfleet, and later opened Watsons Fabrics to supply quality fabrics to makers across the UK.
