Sewing is at the heart of what we do. Our fabrics are selected with real projects in mind, from everyday dressmaking and beginner-friendly makes to special occasion pieces, craft projects and useful wardrobe staples.
We look for fabrics that are enjoyable to sew with and practical to wear, including cottons, linens, viscose, jersey, woollens, linings and more. We also stock one-off remnants, perfect for smaller projects, children’s clothes, linings, accessories and stash-building.

Watsons Fabrics grew from a family love of sewing, craft and creativity. We believe fabric shopping should feel friendly, inspiring and helpful, whether you are an experienced dressmaker or just beginning your sewing journey.

Our online fabric shop is closely connected with Eli-b Create & Sew, our teaching studio in Byfleet. Through the studio, we support beginners, returning sewists and experienced makers with sewing classes, workshops and creative projects.
This means our shop is built around real sewing experience. We understand how important it is to choose the right fabric, matching thread, zip, interfacing or pattern, and we aim to make that process easier.
